How to transport a modern sculpture from Sri Lanka

Many of A. Kalugalla's sculptures are carved from Sri Lankan stone (granite, marble etc.) and, depending on size, rather heavy. Though smaller sculptures like figurines or statuettes might be transported as hand luggage when you fly home, larger and heavier pieces of art need special attention and care. The artist will personally guarantee for the delivery of the sculpture to your home - where ever it is in the world. He'll make sure the art piece will be packaged perfectly in Sri Lanka and then sent with a reputed haulage contractor abroad. Insurance can be provided. All documents and papers will be arranged.

You would be surprised how little costs are generated by sending / transporting a sculpture from Sri Lanka to England, Hongkong, the Middle East, Germany, Australia or the USA!
